We had a monster storm last night. Pelting rain, crashing thunder, lighting, and lots of wind. We took a pounding. Our windows rattled, the fireplace whistled and I hoped that all the doors and windows were shut tight and locked. When we woke up, we found that our poor fence couldn't handle the elements. My daisies didn't do so well either. I wonder if they will bounce back up or if they will be forever be laying flat. One good thing from all of this..

We've had a few wind storms that kept me up all night. But usually we didn't have rain involved. We had a section of our fence go down a few weeks ago in a wind. But luckily, since our fence is still pretty new, we just called the company that put it in and they fixed it for us.
haha...poor fence...good luck with that! I have had flowers do the same thing and they just never quite recover...
I'm so not a fan of wind.
Sorry about your fence and flowers.
Hope the fence isn't a pain to fix.
Mary, it looks like it is your backyard neighbors who will have to be the ones to put it back up since they have the posts in their yard. And it looks like you just needs some metal brackets to screw the fence panel to the posts. Hey, I sound like Daddy! Though maybe my fix is all wrong. Wow, What a storm. Always good to take pictures to remember it by, and you did a supergood job describing it. You'd have gotten an A+ in your English class for such descriptive adjectives.
Love you,
Mommy
I miss the southern storms. We would go out on our deck and just watch the thunder and rain. It was amazing
When we have big winds, we get howlind down the chimney. It's not so bothersome to the people but the dogs keep getting startled and it gets them barking - and that is bothersome to the people!
