I Can Do It Myself

Famous words from my little Abby. Here is her latest attempt.
Yes, inside out and backwards. But I applaud her willingness to get dressed all by herself.
Maybe I'll wait a few hours before pulling out some short sleeves and shorts...

I love when they do this, they always turn out so funny, but cute in their own little way.

Oh I just love that age. HAHA I am actually in it right now, and I try and reason with my daughter about matching and she says well mom they both have stripes :)

Cute girl!! She can compete with Allison who reverses her left-foot, right-foot shoes and insists that the straps on her black shoes point toward the center instead of pointing out. It just looks like it must hurt her toes to be wearing her shoes on the wrong feet, but that's the say she likes them! And Julianne can join the competition wearing two different shoes to school. We're a weird family. :0)
Love,
Mommy

As mom said, Allison is in that stage too. It sure makes life frustrating sometimes when I want to do things faster but she insists on doing it herself. It's all about learning patience, right?

What a cutie. Yes, I can relate right now with Anna as well. She loves to dress herself, and try and put her own shoes on. Don't you just love our independent 2-year-olds?
