The Pinewood Derby. What a day to remember. Ryan was called to be the cubmaster in our ward. (You can laugh. I did!) But oh my. What a lot of work. There were banners to make, a track to set up, refreshments to serve, brackets to fill out, trophies to make, and most of all: one fast car to cut out for Josh to paint and race. We're procrastinators at our house. Thus the need for the hairdryer to dry the paint at the last second. But the night seemed like a success.
We had some fast contenders. One of which was a pickle on wheels. But in the end Josh proved the fastest and won 1st place! Way to go Josh.
Hmm, the fact that the cubmaster's son won first place might cause some people to wonder if the race was fixed! Cute pictures. I'm so glad to see a blog entry and pictures from you. Mommy
I'm a mother to 4 beautiful children. I'm the wife to a wonderful husband. I'm a cleaning lady, chef, chauffeur, teacher, counselor and nurse all rolled up into one. But I'm happy and content. What more could I ask for?
