Camera Happy
I've decided to just throw this out there. What kinds of cameras do you, my blog followers use? I'm finding that my current camera (no offense Sarah) just doesn't have that clean, crisp picture that I'm after. My birthday is coming up next month and I might be able to spring for a new camera. What's good? Now, be reasonable. I can't afford the best of the best here...any suggestions?

Spencer and I really like Cannons. Their little point and shoots are nice. Oh and with a new camera you'd maybe put more pictures up on your blog?!? :)
I have become a Nikon fan. The one we saved up for was the Nikon D40. It is a little spendy, but not the most expensive out there. I have definatley seen a difference in my pictures though. It has been a lot of fun.
I also really like Canons...I have the rebel...but it is a bit pricy...Robyn and Mindy both have the power shots, and they take pretty good pictures...Look at the website fotoconnections.com That is where I got myine and they have pretty good deals, and alot of times you can find some good deals on amazon! I love, love my sony DSC-H50 9.1 mega pixel, 15x optical zoom. It is one step below a digital SLR. Takes great pictures and is fast. I LOVE IT!! A bit pricey but well worth the cost.
For a point and shoot camera, we are big fans of the canon powershot A630 or similar series they have A650, A640 etc.
All of my siblings have them. They take high quality photos and videos, they also have "artsy" features like a macro setting for close ups on flowers and such. We were really choosy when picking our camera for while pregnant so we'd have a great one, reasonably priced, that also takes movies. We have been very very happy with it.
If you're looking for a digital SLR, again, we like Canon's Rebel or Rebel XT.
