I Know I Have a Baby When...

*I shower at nap time. Sometimes this isn't accomplished until noon or even later.

* I have snot and spit up on my shoulder and I sometimes go out in public that way.

* I start falling asleep at 8:30 while reading, watching a movie/TV, or sitting at the computer.

* crying just sort of blends into the background noise. I have learned to ignore it when I have to.

* a good night's sleep is just laughable.

* I spend more time in the hallway at church than I do in class.

* I find myself crawling around on my hands and knees searching for a lost binky.

* I talk in a high pitched, silly voice just to get some smiles, giggles and coos.

* I never get tired of watching them sleep.

Totally true! Although Lilian isn't such a baby anymore so a lot of those things are lessening for me. Hallelujah!

As excited I am to have another baby in June I am not looking forward to a lot of those on the list. But I guess you take the good with the bad.

I can finally say that I relate! I haven't made it to church yet so I don't know about that one yet but I suspect Scott will volunteer to be a great attentive parent and will have her in the hall rather than me doing it!
