For family night the boys decided that they wanted to play clue. So we get it down, set it up and begin playing. As we near the end, Josh makes the final accusation. "I think it was done in the conservatory with the rope and Professor Plum. " Nobody has any of the cards so with a big grin on his face he reaches for the secret folder to pull out the cards. (Ryan had made a big deal about how he wasn't going to let the kids win.) His facial expressions turns to utter disappointment and confusion as the cards in the secret folder are not the conservatory or the rope. What happened? Just then Ethan smiles and yells "just kidding" and shows us all of the cards he had in his hand...the conservatory and rope along with a few others. I guess there is a reason why the box says for ages 8+. What a little trickster.

That's funny. What a smart boy for coming up with that.
You're so good to play games as a family. We should be better about that...Julianne ADORES board games and is always begging us to play.
that is great!!! don't you love kids...I had a good chuckle!
That is just too funny. We love playing board games as a family.
Are you allowed to withold info like that? I can't remember the rules of Clue - I suppose you can, that's probably the point right?
Sneaky, sneaky! When we play board games as a "family" usually one of us has to sit out to be able to distract Ally from trying to ruin the board/cards/people/whatever. We have yet to have great success at it when we include Allison.
