I decided that Abby needed a hair cut. I'd never cut her hair, minus her bangs, and it was getting VERY long. And almost straggly. (Is that a word?) I figured that I could cut it myself. I think I'm fairly handy and resourceful...and since I was only cutting straight across her back, I figured I could manage. I think it turned out great. I took off quite a few inches. So now it's more manageable and hopefully won't get so tangled.

Of course, we had the big talk about only Mommy is allowed to cut her hair. She's already cut a few pieces of her hair, luckily they blended in so you couldn't tell! It looks like she's happy and I'm happy so I think this little experiment went well.

She is super cute!! Good job, that is something I don't dare try on my own.
Wow! Seriously long hair! But what a fabulous haircut on a beautiful girl! I never dared cut my girls' hair when they were younger. I once tried to do Rebekah's bangs and they ended up SO short and she cried. We used to let the Grandma's do it. But now they have their particular styles so I take them to Super Cuts. :) (I don't dare do Brandon's either. Aren't I a wimp?)
She is such a cute little girl. I wish you were closer so Ally and Abby could play.
I have cute Jeremy's hair ever since we got married. I have cut Dalton's hair a few times and I have done Holly's bangs but never the back. I am impressed with you!
Very impressive! I can't believe how long it was! Isn't she only like 1 or something (I know, she's older than 1 but it sure seems like she was born just the other day!)
Good job mary...and you were so nervous! It turned out really great! Her hair was so long!
