The First Day
I have a confession. I really, REALLY like the first day of school. It's a great day for me...oh and the boys like it too. The night before, the kids go to bed on time. And I might add happily! The morning of, they get up without complaint, get dressed, eat breakfast and brush their teeth with a smile on their faces. They are bubbling with excitement and can't wait to get to school! This is why I love the first day of school. Ah, don't we wish that everyday was as special as the first?

I love the first day of school because I get pictures of my kiddos! (Allie told me once that she wasn't a kiddo, she was a girl.)

How cute. For some reason Tommy is acting like he is too cool for school this year (peer pressure from his friends) but I know deep down he is excited. Looks like they had a great first day. Tommy goes in one more week.

Wow, they are looking good! I also love the first day of school. Unfortunately for us, we are way past the first day and are into the first off-track time. Luckily, the Tuesday after Labor Day it will be like the first day all over again. Plus, Allison will start preschool that day as well. What a happy day!
