Should I take offense at an 8 year old's comment?Me: Gee Josh look at these weeds. They are out of control. Maybe we need to get some more weed killer and spread it around.
Josh: Why don't we just pick them?
Me: It'll be easier to just spread the weed killer.
Josh: No really Mom, it's good exercise to pick them.
Me: I think that weed killer would work better and it'd be a lot quicker too.
Josh: But Mom, you REALLY need the exercise. Remember at the park when you couldn't even hardly run back and forth across the field...
Now in my defense, we were sprinting across the field. I can only sprint for so long. I'm a much better jogger. And yes, I do need to exercise, but coming from my 8 year old, it's a bit disheartening. I guess I should get on that exercise bike again...

Ahh, don't worry about it. Kids have a source of energy no adult can compete with.
