Josh has been telling me that he hates school because he hates to do homework...which includes reading. He says that he hates to read. How could anyone in the Dalton family hate to read? I got to thinking that maybe it's because we read the same books over and over again. The other day we headed over to the library and we checked out some Captain Underpants books and when we came home, I found both Josh and Ethan sitting on the couch with a book in hand. Maybe I'll have some success in the reading department this year after all.

remember how much we used to love going to the Granger library and we'd each get to check out 10 books? I loved that!
Dalton is the same way. He hates to do his homework and he dislikes his reading as well. I go to the library just to get a bunch of the phonic books, the ones you can sound out. He seems to do ok with those but I have to stay close by. There is no way he could read Captain Underpants by himself, but I have read a couple to the kids and they really like them.
okay...so they are getting so BIG!!! I swear that those are my little nephews. Its crazy how fast they grow. I bet you are loving that they are back in school!!! I few hours of peace!!
Love, love, love "Captain Underpants." I got them for Brandon but Julianne read them too! I even thought they were hilarious. I'm glad your boys are enjoying them.
