Josh has decided that he wanted to spend more time with Dad so he's taken up running cross country with the middle school/high school team that Ryan coaches. He's done pretty well considering he's only in 5th grade. American Falls hosted this last meet so I was able to go and watch Josh run. It's a mile and a half race for the middle school, but it had a lot of hills. Plus, to top it all off, it was raining and very cold. Brrr. Josh came in about the middle of the pack. He wasn't too happy with his performance. He said he did better last week when he ran in Soda Springs. Oh well, I was proud.

The starting line. Josh is the short, little one in the middle with the blue and orange sleeves.

Up the hill. Doesn't that look fun?

This was the end of the race. He's just about ready to cross the finish line.

This is a great picture huh? Josh looks like he's going to cry or something. I bet he just doesn't want to be seen with his Mom. How embarrassing right? And Kaden, well he was just frozen so he wouldn't look up if his life depended on it.

I should show this to Brandon. I can't ever get him to run with me. "Running isn't my sport, mom." Tell Josh I think it's awesome that he is running! Katie and I are running a race tomorrow morning. A 6k (3.75 miles) for me and a 10k (6 miles) for Katie. But I don't think we have to run up any huge hills like Josh did!!
That is so cool! Josh is awesome! It looks sooooo cold! I am scared for the day we ever move back! And that's not even showing the snow you just got, right?? Brrrr! We've finally reached the weather where we enjoy being outside!
oh, he's going to be a handsome fellow and all the girls are going to want to be friends with him - least of all his mommy. What a runner! I'm impressed
I stink at running, so I have a lot of respect for anyone who tries!
As always, you look beautiful. I swear, you have the most gorgeous hair in the whole world! I wish my hair looked that great on a rainy day! Mine would be one big load of frizz!
