1 pair of scissors.
2 sneaky children.
2 heads missing some hair.
2 pairs of pants with holes cut in them.
1 angry Mommy.
2 children with time outs (for a long time.)

Yeah, not sure what Ethan was thinking. He was the one who did the actual cutting. Lucky that the layered look is "in" because Abby sure has different lengths of hair in the back. Needless to say, Abby is going to look real cute in all the upcoming Christmas pictures. Sigh. . . . .

Oh, poor Abby! That picture is SOOOOO cute....and sad! But seriously, what kid hasn't had dreams of playing barber shop? It seems like such a fun idea! (And come on....it makes for GREAT memories!) ;)
Oh dear. It's so sad when that happens, but usually they learn after the first time.
Oh, oh. Haven't we all had catastrophes with kids and scissors. Little Maddy also just got a "haircut" from a friend. I'm sure Melissa will identify with your dismay. Abby's pout is adorable. Mommy
Oh that face!!!! Priceless! :) So sorry about the unexpected haircut. Kind of surprisingly funny that it was Ethan. I think we all go through this at least once.
Oh wow! the bangs, please tell me they are slicked back right? Maddy had her hair cut by the babysitters 3 year old a week or so ago. Luckily it's all in back (bangs are intact) so I can do pigtails or a ponytail and hid it. I feel your pain.
That picture of Abby is sooooo sad! Why are kids so fascinated by scissors!? Peter can't keep his eyes off of them. I do my best to remember to keep them high up and out of reach, but it's so easy to forget!
oops! :)
