Here is a letter Ethan wrote to the tooth fairy. It made me laugh. Tucked in a ziplock bag was this note and a second tooth that had just fallen out.

Yes, I lost the first tooth. I was being so good. Changing the sheets and all. I just forgot that the first tooth happened to still be under a certain pillow. Oops. Darn tooth fairy for not remembering to come that first night. Then none of this would have happened!
Oh, and in case you are wondering, Ethan did get his double money for two teeth!

So, cute! The tooth fairy has a hard time remembering to come at our house as well.
adorable. so grateful for scanners so we can see the note with Ethan's handwriting - makes it even more precious.
Julianne just lost a tooth last night. Her very last one. The tooth fairy has long since stopped coming to her seeing as she is 12 years old and all. She makes so much more money babysitting that the piddly amount she could potentially get from the tooth fairy. :)
Oh that is so cute! Our tooth fairy isn't good about coming either :(
Too funny, Mary! Our tooth fairy has forgotten to make her rounds several times, but has never lost a tooth! I have been reading all of your blog entries but my computer has been messed up and I haven't been able to comment until now. I am envious of your fun trips and your new home in IF. I hear fall is in the air there. It was 109 yesterday WITH humidity. Miss it? We miss you guys. Hope you are loving your new home!
How cute! I can remember "tricking" the tooth fairy when I was young when my dad accidentally washed my tooth down the drain after it was sitting in a small cup of water by the sink. I love that he wrote a letter. :)
Ha ha! That is adorable. Your kids are so cute.
