This year, we got to put up Grandma and Grandpa's tree. Can I just say how much nicer theirs is verses ours. First, it was two pieces. Not like ours which has about a billion little branches that have to be fluffed and inserted. Next and the most important of all....it's pre-lit!!! (Yes, that deserves 3 exclamations marks.) None of the dizziness from walking around and around and around...I vow that one day we will have a pre-lit tree. It's made it to my list of must haves in the future. You know that list. I think everyone has one. It's like a Dear Santa list for adults. Unfortunately, I have a lot of things on that list. Boo hoo. Maybe I'm being too greedy? A Mrs. Scrooge of sorts. So I'm getting off topic....The kids had a wonderful time decorating for Christmas. It feels very festive around here. Here's to a wonderful Christmas season.

We have the crazy tree your talking about and I dislike it as well. I'm with you on getting a prelite easy to assemble tree. It's been on my list too, maybe this year after Christmas.
Your tree looks great, cute photos.
Oh, I totally know what you are talking about. Didn't we both have similar trees? When we moved here we got one that was 3 pieces and pre-lit. (And actually, when we put it away for the year, we only pop the top off and then stuff it all in a corner.) But we still put up that smaller, un-lit tree with the gazillion pieces up downstairs. I learned a trick from Uncle Mike though. Go layer by layer. Put in the bottom pieces and fluff them, then put the lights on that layer. Then do the next layer, etc. Let me tell you, it is SO much easier!
Our tree comes in two or three pieces but it isn't pre-lit. Someday . . . I am just hoping to get a new tree so I can have two. One that could be a little more nicely decorated that the "kids" tree.
I have a list like yours too. A pre-lit Christmas tree is on my list too. I completely know what you mean about getting dizzy by walking around, and around, and around the tree!
Oh, those pictures are magical. Good job, Mary.
