Yep, winter came. It is with great sorrow that I finally accept that I can't just wish the snow away. It's coming and will continue to come until like April. Everyone around here says that we need to have a winter sport like skiing, or snowshoeing or else we'll go crazy. We've even had offers of ski lessons and going snowmobiling. Maybe this winter won't be so bad after all...I'll let you know how it's coming along mid March.I guess other than me, everyone else seems to be enjoying themselves. The boys are in heaven. They came home from school and immediately put on their snow gear and went out to enjoy all the white stuff. And I guess I really do have to admit that watching the big flakes falling from the window sure is pretty. (Can you tell I'm trying to be positive?)

I am not a fan of winter either. I do love watching it snow, I love watching my kids play in it and enjoy it, but I would rather be laying in the sun, staying warm. They rest of my family all seams to enjoy it as well.
It is beautiful!!! I would sit at the window with a book and hot chocolate every day and just nevere go out!

I love the cozy feeling snow brings as long as I don't have to go out in it. However the thing I hate most about winter is all the kids junk, ie. coats, hats, gloves, boots, snowpants, etc. We spend hours getting everything on and then they stay outside for 10-20 minutes and then they are back inside wanting to get warm and I have piles of cold, wet snow clothes everywhere. Drives me crazy!
My favorite winter sport is staying inside and keeping warm. Winter is pretty, but I hate being cold. Those pictures you took are gorgeous! Enjoy the view from inside!
