I was just looking at the weather and I noticed that there was a severe weather alert. Curiously, I started to read. Our severe weather was a "fire watch." Apparently things are dry enough with just enough wind to constitute problems for fire.
Now, I'm really liking the no snow thing here in Texas, but a fire watch has almost pushed me over the edge. That just shouldn't happen in January. That's just wrong.....all wrong!

That is crazy, I hope no fires do start, that is just so scary.
I love your new background.
Surely you are not bragging. Like all those people in California who send out Christmas cards with letters in them that tell all their snowbound friends that they are sitting on the veranda enjoying the balmy temperatures and eating oranges from their own trees? We envy you your Texas winter, but we'll let you keep your Texas summer.

By the way, where are the promised pictures?

That is so funny. We were all at shanes and I read it to the whole family and everyone laughed!
Cute background! I hope the fire watch is no where near you! I do love the idea of snow at Christmas but when I have to leave the house I wish we had your weather.
